HOW CAN I FIND MORE ON THE DAY INFO?

We have an On The Day page including additional info, stage times and the festival map here.

HOW DOES A MULTI-VENUE WORK?

Once you have your appropriate wristband on your arm, you can move in and out of the venues throughout the day/evening as you require. However, each venue is subject to the capacity at the time. So, if the venue is full when you arrive, you need to queue until other people leave to free up capacity at that time.

ARE THE FESTIVAL VENUES FAR AWAY FROM ONE ANOTHER?

No. Our venues are all based in Reading town centre, and at their furthest point can be up to 0.7 miles apart. Some of our venues are 1 to 5 minutes walk apart, and the biggest gap between the two furthest venues from one to the other is a 15-20-minute walk, approx.

WHAT IF THERE’S AN ARTIST I REALLY WANT TO SEE?

The festival capacity is based on the total licensed audience capacity across all participating venues. Due to the nature of a multi-venue festival, at times, it’s likely some of the more popular artists/venues may reach capacity. You will then need to queue until people leave and capacity opens up.

If there’s an artist you really want to see, you should arrive earlier to guarantee a spot. We suggest at least one act before the artist you wish to watch.

It’s advisable to follow our socials during the festival for the latest updates.

Follow our X handle www.x.com/aylfest for updates throughout the day.

ARE UNDER 18’S ALLOWED TO ATTEND?

Yes. A number of our venues allow under-18s if aged between 14- 17 years old. The AYL? Hub is all ages and free entry.

All under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.

ARE YOU RUNNING BARS AT THE AYL? HUB AND ST. LAURENCE CHURCH?

Yes. We will be running bars in both venues featuring Siren Craft Brew draught beer, cider, spirits and more.

CAN I BUY ANY FESTIVAL MERCH?

Yes. AYL? Merch will be available at the AYL? Hub and later in the evening inside St. Laurence Church.

HOW CAN I LEARN MORE ABOUT THE ARTISTS PLAYING?
