Athens-born, Cardiff-based Minas is James Minas – producer, vocalist, pianist, lyricist and more Minas grew up in the circus with parents who were heavily involved in the 1980’s Punk scene and then moved to secondary school in the Welsh Valleys, with the boredom and misbehaviour that came with it. Minas aims to create music full of rage and impact but ends with an empowering feeling of hope, something we all need in right now…

After a slew of one off-releases in 2020 & 2021 – Drinker, Nudge and Burner – Minas is on course to release his debut album ‘All My Love Has Failed Me’. With the critically acclaimed and internationally recognised standout single Payday already opening doors, his new single Foreign is the next chapter in the saga. As a producer James is also working to build a new sound for the South Wales scene with a number of artists and genres such as Mace the Great, Luke RV, Dead Method, Razkid, Noah Bouchard and more…
