Lipworms

Weaving club-ready techno rhythms into a dark, sticky web of psychedelic hypnosis, ‘handshake’ supplies us the first taste of LIPWORMS’ craving for abrasive, groove-infested noise. Drawing comparisons to the likes of SCALER and Mandy, Indiana, ‘handshake’ moves both with the carefully-crafted ebb and flow of a sprawling electro-epic, and the raw spontaneity of a rock ensemble carried away by the frenzy of the moment.
