Bennet are like the patron saints of Reading’s long lost music scene. An art rock band from the 1990s who had a top 40 single and spent the decade touring the 2 albums they released for Roadrunner records. Now reformed for a series of sell out gigs they are bringing their sharp songwriting and 3 minute acerbic pop anthems to the festival. Think the best gags of Yard Art and sing-along choruses of Blur, and expect a love in of indie hits and self-deprecating put downs.
