Bad Sounds

Bad Sounds

Bad Sounds fuse cheerful pop hooks, fuzzy guitar lines and an undeniably addictive chorus, bringing sounds from across eras with a twist. Brothers Ewan and Callum Merrett started on different musical paths before the band was born, Ewan was keen on making hip-hop beats and playing with samples, Callum was more engrossed in the soul, pop and R’n’B of Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield. Combining Ewan and Callum’s differing styles, they come together create the colorful and unique world that is Bad Sounds.

Bath’s Bad Sounds have been championed by Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, Annie Mac, The Line Of Best Fit, DIY, CLASH, NME, and NOISEY amongst others plus the band released their debut album ‘Get Better’ to rave reviews last Summer.

They performed a sold-out headline tour last year which finished with a one-off spectacular show at London’s Heaven and are a band who bring ‘the party’ – we are thrilled to welcome them back to AYL?
