Ash the Author

Reading based microphone wizard, Ash The Author is no stranger to the stage. He cut his teeth at local event Holdin Court, networking with the cream of the crop of UK Hip Hop eventually going on to become the shows permanent host. Ash has played numerous festivals over the country as well supporting heavyweights of the Hip Hop world such as The Pharcyde and Blackalicous, as well getting air time all over the spectrum of radio, from BBC 1xtra to most recently Huey Morgan’s show on Radio 6.

Ash’s style has one foot firmly rooted in that classic hiphop sound, with the other moving forward towards more experimental realms, particularly with his work as part of the duo Astro Unit. His live show is energetic and poignant, and not one you want to miss!
